Music Monday: Steve Winwood “Higher Love”

Steve Winwood "Higher Love". This is one of the most dynamic, masterfully produced albums I've ever heard.

We've used this track countless times to identify weaknesses in the upper frequencies of speakers given the full horn and percussion presence across the soundstage.

The stereo separation through the chorus helps us see where to place the tweeter relative to the midrange, as well as optimizing the projection of the high frequencies off of the windshield.

Listening to this track in your Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator with the top and doors off opens up the energy even more. It truly gives me a feeling of a real-time concert experience.
